On Wednesday 17th of June 2026, the Malta Stock Exchange hosted the ‘Ringing of the Bell’ ceremony to mark the listing of Challenge Aviation p.l.c. (the “Issuer”) €30 million 5.75% secured Bonds 2032 on the Official List of the Malta Stock Exchange (the “Listing”).
The Listing represents a significant milestone for both the Challenge Group and Malta’s aviation sector, being the first secured bond issue backed by aircraft. Mr. Simon Zammit, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Stock Exchange, expressed his best wishes to the Issuer on the successful commencement of trading. Mr. Yossi Shoukroun, Independent Non-Executive Director of the Issuer, expressed his appreciation to the Issuer’s management team, the Malta Financial Services Authority and the Issuer’s advisers for their respective contributions to the Listing.
The event was attended by representatives of the Issuer and its advisers.
