Veronica Grixti

Veronica Grixti is a Partner at Mamo TCV Advocates.  She graduated as a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2004 after submitting a doctoral thesis entitled “The Rights of Third Party Beneficiaries under Contract: A Historical Review in the light of Recent Developments”. In 2005, she furthered her studies at the University of Malta in European law, where she obtained a Masters of Law degree in Magister Juris [European & Comparative Law]. Veronica’s dissertation for the partial fulfillment of her specialization focused on the cross-border measures taken vis-à-vis goods infringing intellectual property laws. She was called to the Bar in January, 2005.

Veronica’s main areas of practice include certain aspects of insurance, inheritance, general commercial, corporate and property law. She has also been actively involved in handling claims before the Office for Financial Services (OAFS).

  • Formed part of a team for the portfolio transfer of a long-term insurance business to a leading Maltese insurance company
  • Formed part of a team assisting in the restructuring of a group of companies of a substantial value
  • Acted as company secretarial to many companies registered in Malta, attendance at board meetings and shareholder’s meetings and taking of minutes, advised the said companies on different legal and regulatory aspects
  • Handling of claims before the Office of the Arbiter for Financial Services (OAFS)
  • Handling of disputes in relation to life insurance policies
