Position Overview

The firm has one of the longest standing practices on the island in the fields of Intellectual Property (IP) and Telecoms, Media & Technology (TMT) and is now looking to recruit a lawyer to join its team.

The duties of the selected candidate will include:

Trademark and patent prosecution related work
Contract drafting and negotiation with reference to the intellectual property and technology sectors
General legal advisory work relating to the sectors above
Assisting with DPO-related work
Occasional court attendance and litigation

We are looking for a dynamic professional with:

An aptitude to work in the legal sectors described above
Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiation
Work experience as lawyer will be considered an asset but is not an essential requirement
Experience acting as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) will also be considered an asset but again is not an essential requirement.
