Franco Vasssallo graduated in law in 1983 and given a warrant to practice in 1984. Before graduating he worked as a customs clearance clerk with the local Unilever manufacturing respresentative exposing him on a first hand experience to port and shipping practices from an end user perspective.
Following graduation he worked in one of the oldest Maltese firms (Camilleri & Delia) until togther with David Tonna and Richard Camilleri formed Tonna Camilleri Vassallo which later (2000) merged with John Mamo & Associates to set up Mamo TCV.
He is a keen reader, fisherman, agriculturalist and walker.

Represented the national airline’s interests in the Lockerbie Trial held at Camp Zeist Holland;
Represented Maltese interests in the MT Erika case in Paris France;
Represented major helicopter manufacturer in major helicopter tender procedures in Malta;
Represented French Equine national association in major procedeedings concerning cross border disputes in gaming matters;
General external Counsel for Malta’s largest banking instution;
General Counsel for various property owning/developing companies & plc’s;
Former Doctoral examiner University of Malta; and
Various pro bono work such as ongoing representation of victims of abuse at church homes in Malta.
