Position Overview

A vacancy has arisen to join the firm as an associate or senior associate in our Banking and Finance team.
The role would involve advising and assisting clients in connection with (among others):
- Assisting local and international clients on regulatory and compliance matters;
- Applications for licences in terms of the Banking Act and the Financial Institutions Act;
- Change of control applications in the context of M&A transactions involving licensed entities;
- Domestic and international lending and syndicated finance transactions;
- Company secretarial support for licensed credit and financial institutions;
- Other banking-related or corporate law briefs.
While candidates with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, the ideal candidate will:
- Possess a Law degree and warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta;
- Have good written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese;
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in banking law;
- Be pro-active and able to work against tight deadlines;
- Be willing to undergo continued professional development and training.
