Andrew Muscat leads on corporate and commercial matters at Mamo TCV Advocates. The firm's recent work includes advising on a number of significant M&A transactions for international clients; one highlight involved  acting for UK-based retailer The Entertainer on its acquisition of 50% of the equity of Maltese company John G. Cassar. Michael Psaila assisted a subsidiary of healthcare supplier Baxter Group with redomiciling from Switzerland to Malta. Elsewhere, the team advises clients on corporate governance, securitisation projects, asset finance projects and regulatory and compliance issues. Joseph Borg Bartolo is recommended for insurance-related mandates, which includes litigation, as well as regulatory and compliance advice. Tua advised The Macro Fund on the restructuring, winding-up and re-establishment of a set of sub-funds under an umbrella Société d'investissement à Capital Variable (SICAV). Recent work includes handling a €2m bond issuance for food and beverage conglomerate Simonds Farsons Cisk and a share listing for property investment company Trident Estates.
