Jonathan Abela Fiorentino is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department of the firm, assisting the firm’s corporate foreign and local clients in litigation matters, as well as providing legal advice on general civil and commercial matters involving such clients. Having acted for various local and foreign corporate clients throughout his profession so far, Jonathan has gained extensive experience in the exercise of the legal profession, in particular in civil and commercial litigation and intellectual property law.

As counsel to such persons and entities, he assists clients throughout both the pre-litigation stage striving to settle and concluding disputes amicably, as well as during the litigation stage in drafting the necessary judicial acts and representing the client in the courts of law.

Magister Juris in European and Comparative Law (2007, University of Malta) 

Lead counsel for an international social games company in a dispute concerning the breach of its various intellectual property rights in its games. The parties reached a favourable settlement at pre-litigation stage.

Counsel for a company operating in the aviation services industry in two separate actions concerning leases of aircraft for the termination of the lease in one case and payment of services in the other case. The cases are ongoing.

Retained as counsel for a well-established local company operating in the jewellery industry assisting it in the various legal matters it encounters, particularly matters of a commercial law and regulatory nature.

Participated in an extensive due diligence exercise of a large local company operating in the telecommunications industry, involving in particular the review of a myriad of wholesale, vendor and supply & support agreements.

Advising an international construction company forming part of a local consortium responsible for the construction of a major infra-structural project, on various general civil and commercial issues involving the project.
