Annalies Muscat is a senior associate within the competition and commercial practice of the firm. As a member of the competition group, she advises various businesses in different industries (such as manufacturing, utilities, food and beverage, entertainment, telecommunications, import and export, co-operatives) on competition issues. This includes making submissions to and representing clients in front of the Office for Competition, the Competition and Consumer Appeals Tribunal, the civil courts and regulators as well as advising on contracts and mergers and acquisitions. As a member of the commercial practice of the firm, she assists and advises clients on various contractual issues; advises clients on consumer law related matters; and also has experience of capital markets, having assisted clients with bond issues and initial public offerings and other corporate governance matters.
Christina Scicluna is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department. Christina started her legal career with one of the Big Four firms in the personal tax department specialising in personal tax compliance and personal tax advisory services including advising High Net Worth Individuals on matters relating to taxation and immigration.
Christina advises a variety of multinational clients on international corporate structures, including the setting up of corporate structures in Malta for both local and foreign investment and mergers and acquisitions.
Christina is also part of the internal Blockchain Committee at the Firm which handles all legal matters related to cryptocurrency, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and distributed ledger technology projects.
Claude Micallef Grimaud is a Senior Associate at Mamo TCV Advocates having first joined the firm in June 2008. His main area of practice includes advising and acting as counsel for foreign and local clients in all intellectual property matters (particularly Copyright cases, Anti-Counterfeiting actions and Trademark issues) including litigation, contract negotiation and drafting, registration procedures and licensing/franchising matters.
Claude also acts as lead counsel in all matters relating to privacy and data protection and represents numerous international (and local) entities in such matters.
Claude’s other specialist areas include all matters relating to Media law, Information Technology law, EU law, Contract law and Tort law the latter being a subject he also lectures at the University of Malta. Claude has published a number of academic articles both locally as well as abroad. Claude is also an examiner and supervisor of Doctor of Laws theses and Research Projects at the University of Malta.
Claude also acts as counsel for clients in general civil and commercial matters.
