Simon Pullicino is a Senior Associate within the firm’s Corporate Finance & Insolvency Group, having joined Mamo TCV Advocates in 2009. His main practice areas include asset management & securities, banking & corporate finance, insolvency and debt restructuring, corporate rescue, mergers & acquisitions, commercial litigation and general commercial law.

Simon advises clients on all aspects of commercial and financing transactions, corporate governance, liquidations & debt restrucuting, regulatory and compliance issues. He has gained extensive experience in the field of corporate insolvency and corporate rescue, having being involved in a number of corporate liquidations, both voluntary and contentious proceedings litigated before the Maltese Courts.

Simon has also represented clients before the Maltese Superior Courts and in arbitration proceedings in a number of commercial litigation disputes with a particular focus on minority shareholder protection.

He has participated as a contributory author in a number of European wide legal publications, most recently contributing to the “Merger Control – Jurisdictional Comparisons” European Lawyer Reference (2nd Edition, 2014). Simon is currently participating as a National Reporter in the European Commission’s “Study on a new approach to business failure and insolvency”.

He also lectures at the University of Malta on the subject of corporate insolvency and winding up for students of the M.A Financial Services degree.
Giles Xuereb is an associate with the Firm's Shipping and Aviation Department as well as the Corporate Department of the firm. He mainly focuses on these spheres of law as well as general commercial practice, and services a number of local and international clientele.

Giles is also involved in asset financing and securitisation transactions in relation to vessels and aircraft and other commercial matters and catering to the corporate needs of legal entities.

Giles is also part of the internal Blockchain Committee at the Firm which handles all legal matters related to cryptocurrency, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and distributed ledger technology projects.
Richard Camilleri is a founding partner of the firm and has been described as a ‘corporate all rounder’. As counsel to various domestic and foreign clients, he has significant experience in a large variety of transactions including privatisations, share acquisitions, public offerings of debt and equity securities, real-estate and construction projects.

Richard also advises clients on competition law, intellectual property law and employment law. He also has significant experience in litigation and has represented clients in cases concerning a variety of matters including competition law, unfair competition law, intellectual property law and employment law.

Richard is a also a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law of the University of Malta and has been lecturing since 1988.
Since April 2015, Roberta Peresso occupies the position of Senior Associate within the Corporate and Banking Department at Mamo TCV Advocates. Prior to joining the Firm, Roberta gathered nine years’ experience in the local banking sector. Her previous roles exposed her mainly to the security aspects of lending and other matters of civil law, banking law in general, trade finance and company secretarial duties in a company listed on the Malta Stock Exchange. Roberta also has a good knowledge of data protection law which she acquired during her employment with the local data protection authority, which coincided with the introduction of the data protection laws in Malta.
Christine Calleja is a senior associate of the firm working in the employment law department. She has assisted various local and international companies in human resources matters, such as contract drafting, unfair dismissal claims, transfers of business and collective redundancies, as well as represented clients before the Maltese Industrial Tribunal and courts. Christine has also participated in educational seminars organised for the human resources industry as lecturer in this field.

Furthermore, forming part of the litigation team, Christine specialises in insurance claims, representing a major insurance company in Malta and also individual claimaints in insurance related matters.
